Information we collect

• Order details — your name, email, phone, delivery address, and the items and dates you request when you check out.
• Account details — if you create an account or sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from that provider. We never receive your social-media password.
• Facebook Messenger conversations — if you message our Facebook Page, we receive and store the content of those messages along with your Facebook display name, profile picture, and the page-scoped ID Facebook assigns you. We use this only to read and reply to your messages from our staff inbox. We never receive your Facebook password, friends list, or anything else from your Facebook profile.
• Payment details — card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Usage data — basic technical information (such as your browser type and pages viewed) needed to run and secure the site.

How we use your information

• To bake and fulfill your orders and arrange pickup or delivery.
• To send order confirmations, updates, and replies to your questions.
• To let you sign in and view your order history.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers we share with

We share only what each service needs to do its job:

• Clerk — account sign-in and authentication (including Google and Facebook login).
• Stripe — secure payment processing.
• Resend — sending order and contact emails.
• Meta (Facebook) — delivering and receiving Facebook Messenger conversations with our Page. Messages you send us travel through Facebook and are also governed by Facebook's own privacy policy.
• Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your cart and your signed-in session working. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep order and account information for as long as needed to provide our service and meet legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete it. Facebook Messenger conversations are kept in our staff inbox so we can follow up on your questions and orders, and are deleted on request.

Your choices & data deletion

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To request deletion of your account or data — including data obtained through Facebook or Google login, and any Facebook Messenger conversations we hold — email us at [email protected] and we'll take care of it.

Children

Our site is intended for adults placing bakery orders and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page.
